Why United Community Impact Group LLC?
Our learning centers offer a safe environment where children can learn through play, grow to be life long learning and connect with their communities.
This concept is of continued importance throughout the curriculum and will not be isolated from other learning. Continuing opportunities for investigation of cultural diversity may include:
Use of language other than English in the Center, especially those spoken by the children in attendance
Incorporation of traditional family customs, games, and festivals in the Center routine
Displays of art, music and literature from other cultures
Available materials and equipment that enhances the appreciation for cultural diversity may include ethnic dolls, children of the world posters, ethnic cookbooks and non-sexist materials.
Cultural, ethnic, ability, gender and age diversity are addressed directly as issues come up and as curriculum is planned. The natural and timely inclusion of multicultural materials and activities provide children with a meaningful and realistic experience that cannot be achieved by having token props accessible in certain areas.
We feel that providing a multicultural and diverse environment is best met by enrolling children from many different countries, different ethnic backgrounds, different socioeconomic levels, a variety of ages, and children with special needs.
To provide quality
childcare at a reasonable cost; quality care shall include a well-balanced
schedule of large and small group activities, outdoor and indoor activities and
restful and active play times. Nutritious meals and snacks provided on a
regular basis. Supervision by professionals trained in early childhood
education. There are teacher-planned activities and child-initiated activities.
Access to age-appropriate games and equipment to help the child develop
physically, emotionally, socially, and intellectually, at his/her own pace.
Individual attention to a child's unique needs, capabilities, and background
At United Community Impact Group LLC, we believe that all children can and will learn. We will create and support a school environment in which all children and adults feel welcomed, respected, trusted and are an important part of our school. To achieve our vision, we daily create a learning environment which is centered around children, directed by teachers and students, and supported by home and community. We are focused on building a community, centered around creative and lifelong learning.
